RE: 01 530i and aftermarket deck?

Just picked up my 530 and I've got an Alpine deck. I lnow how to install it but I'd like to get my steering controls working...is there an interface or a hok up available for that?

yeah...got the Audiophile system...I don't care so much about replacing the Business Cd Player but I've got a really good Alpine deck with Sirius Satellite. I pulled it out of my other car and I can't stand listening to Vibe 98.5 anymore...I really miss Sirius. It would just be cool to be able to use the steering buttons.

Niche Pultecs
They are from way back. But they are true 3 piece and have a nice deep polished lip that really suits the car.
Unless I move up to 19's, I'll probaly stick with them. I've had them so long.

Anybody got an aftermarket deck in their 5...or x5...I got audiophile and I heard it's a pain to put my alpine deck in because of different voltage????
