It can hold up to 10,000 songs but that number varies depending on the size(quality) of the songs you are importing (so higher quality songs will reduce the number of songs it holds). Currently I have about 4000 songs on it that takes up about 20GB of space and the quality songs are at 192kbps in mp3 format.

It's not a color screen.

It can hold photos, you are just not able to view them on it, you can only store them on it.
