Really depends on the dentist you go to. You also have to take into account everything that happens BEFORE the actual filling, such as cleaning, XRay, Fluoride, Anesthetic, etc... Each component incurs a charge, and dentists charge for those plus time... I know that I pay about 200 bucks just for a visit with cleaning, Xray, and fluoride. The anesthetic and filling would prolly cost another 200.

Thanks for the input I think I will get it done... Looks like I can save a fair deal of cash over here!

At my dentist, checkups (Cleaning, X-ray, etc) are usually $180, and fillings are ~$75-$90 ontop of that if done at the same time, or if a seperate appointment is made for the filling, they are roughly $150 each.
Hope that helps :)

What country are you in (if you don't mind me asking)?

I am in Budapest, Hungary and the cost is going to be about 80 for the fillings and around 20 for the X-rays but was not sure if I wanted to deal with the pain + apointments but looks like I can save some cash as I need some extensive work done...
