Edmonton finally and officially now has a NLL Lacrosse team.

Edmonton Rush.

Not that keen on the name, but hey, it's another Edmonton sports franchise.

They are going to get slaughtered their first year, lol. I've played against like 1/4 of those guys in my life. This battle of Alberta will be pretty one sided for the next few years.

Yeah, I'd figured that much out. Usually the case for an inaugural team season.

Really? Sweet deal! I had season tickets back in 2002-2003 (2nd tier level) and didn't get jack!

Season tickets are on sale in mid December.

I heard it was a toss up between the Speed and Rush.

Personally, there could have been better names.
