Well my Dad was in France 2 weeks ago and I asked him to get me some Top Gear DVD's... turns out their DVD systems are different in Europe than in NA... good news though is my dad watched an episode of Top Gear and now wants to buy an RS4 next year once my brother leaves the house

Well, no they have a different region code and use PAL instead of NTSC, but stick it into your computer (or any _really_ cheap DVD player) and it'll still work, if you need help viewing these - PM me.

^Yeah, it was OK. It's too bad he doesn't get rid of the cheesy music. I find that his videos are just lower quality than Top Gear, they're just not as enjoyable to watch.

Uh... it was a stunt!

Black Stig was Perry McCarthy. He drove in the Formula Ford, the F3 and F3000 series in the 80's. In the 90's he drove in the IMSA sports cars series in the US, and he got one year in F1. But unfortunately he didn't drive a race in a F1 car due to problems with his team. After his short F1 career he went into GT Endurance racing, and entered Le Mans a couple of times. Then he wrote a book that let slip he was the Stig... so they had to "kill him" to bring in a different Stig to keep him the "mystery driver"!

If you watch the segment where he "dies," you can see the Jaguar isn't driven off the ramp, it's launched by the cannon they used in the "car darts" segment.

Now you can sleep easier knowing that the first Stig is alive and well. :D

Tiff and Jeremy don't hate eachother, infact they just recently did a show together in London, and Tiff appears countless times in Jeremy's videos. It's friendly rivalry is all, after all Tiff is heading up the "opposition" on Fifth Gear.

Cool.. yah I haven't been into it for that long, I've just seen some of the old top gear's where they're together.. Why'd they end up splitting?? I think Top Gear is usually more entertaining than 5th Gear, but Tiff seems pretty knowledgable...

Of all the drivers on the review shows, Tiff is the best, but Clarkson has the best ego, Hammond has a great sense of humor, May is just weird, Butler-Henderson is the only eye candy on either show (unfortunately, but she is also a former racing driver, so she does have some skill), Ford is the absolute BEST at comedy, and Plato does know how to drive but god he's annoying (BTCC champion, another former racing driver)

They should make a show of Clarkson, Needell, Hammond and Ford :thumbsup:
