hey guys, I got a crazy client who is very simple.

He aproached me, asking me to make him a complete DJ setup, with a laptop computer. I have already purchased a sound mixing board and speakers, got a laptop and an external 24bit USB sound card. sounds fantastic so far.

Problem is, i need to find him some sort of DJing software that is EXTREMELY user friendly to use.

please post any ideas you have, and links to info on it, or where to buy it, and personal experiences with it.

if he said he wanted a dj set up i dont think a mixing board is what he wants

he probably wants a DJ mixer.

DJing software probably Traktor (its what the pros use)

other ones out there that are free are

Atomix
PCDJ

Like said above, those are some good ones, I'd recommend Traktor out of all that is out there, theres also:

Virtual DJ
MixMeister

Atomix is probably the easiest to use, if he wants to get abit better than that then try using Acid Pro, you can't mix on the fly, but you can put together a DJ set, and make the beatmatching very accurate, as these other programs above ain't so good if you make the computer do the beatmatching, and then if you want one of the best, look into Ableton Live, its a killer program with a killer price.

But when it comes down to it, nothing beats the real thing.:D
