View Full Version : Squeaky Fan?

Wondering if anyone had this problem.. I have a 1997 e36 so it has the computer control heat system something (the one with the LCD).. anyways... sometimes at certain fan speeds it makes a very loud high pitch noise... i usually mess with the fan speed till it goes away...

anyone has had this problem or know how to fix? :dunno:

Don't use WD40 blindly.

Take it out and see what the issue is. There is a small fan in the unit. Report back.

Also might be a sign that the blower motor is gonna go anytime soon
