ugh
let's not get into just how much more power a 5.7 liter V8 can make then a 2JZ, or how cheap exactly rear ends for these things are, or about how awesome the T-56 is compared to that thing in the supra.
the 240SX was available for a few model years after 1995 but is also gutless. I also believe 300ZXs continued past the 1995 model year but am not totally sure.

remember - there is no replacement for displacement, really, you can only pretend a turbo makes up the difference.
if the Camaro had a boosted inline six, it would get better mileage too! and the Chevy small block can make about 700 horsepower and run for the duration of an entire NASCAR race, has a few class wins at Le Mans (lets not forget the GT40's back-to-back-to-back overall wins in a similar motor), and so on..
plus going all motor into the 10s in a reasonable option in the Camaro, even into the 9s
Apples to Oranges, don't even bother keeping up with this

Nevermind all the 1000HP+ daily driven Supra's you see out there. You know the ones- the cars that can actually handle, turn, accelerate, and stop predictably?

my bros 94 TT supra ran 12s with bpu's
we built this car up, in a muscle shop in winnipeg, motion performance. where these guys are running mid 8's with their v8's but they were really impressed with the toyota:D so impressed that they opened an import section in their muscle shop
