I've seen those on a white escalade in calgary. They were 22's. They look good.

White is one of, if not THE easiest color to maintain. Anyone who has owned one knows what I'm talking about. Just soap it, and hose it down, and its like it was fresh off the showroom floor (not exactly but you get the idea).

Having to dry your car off all the time just so you don't get water spots is SUCH a pain in the ass. Then when you think you've got it perfect, you drive away and water finds its way outta the cracks here and there and messes up your nice drying job anyway. This affects most other colors, particularly dark ones. Not to mention dust and light dirt are much more noticeable on darker cars.

Next car will be white. Great choice again on the navi.

I drove a few of these, the interior is reminiscent of a 80s Hyundai, the performance and handling similar... Probably the most expensive Hyundai Pony you can get! Except, of course, the Hyundai Pony got a gas mileage that didn't kill baby seals.

Lincoln Navigators kill baby seals.

So do I.

Uhm... am i going anywhere with this? No. No I am not. :goflames:

untill of course you don't have 40 dollars a day for gas, or want something that can take a turn above 30 km/h, or want a top speed above 130 km/h, or any sort of off road capability...

once again, the hyundai pony prevails.

Hehe, but how else would I become an annoying postwhore like Weapon_R? :D

The navigator is a cool looking vehicle, I just really wish it had like, well, a really redeeming quality? You know? Like, if it was really capable off road, or... really fast, or... really cheap... I just don't see anything good about SUVs that are.. like city oriented, you know?

I honestly don't like SUVs, but for the streets, and general city driving - with the safety an SUV provides and the slight advantage in snow and bad weather - I'd probably investigate which SUV has the best mileage/reliability - So I'd probably wind up with an import :) None the less, I was drunk yesterday and the Navigator def looks :bigpimp: - but is kind of useless ish :)

Didnt read all the posts so not sure if this has been said before or not.
But get ready to pay TONS for the gas for that bad boy. My dad got a 2004 Navigator as a courtsey car when he crashed his bimmer for about 2 weeks. Even though he was really impressed with almost everything else, he did not like the gas consumption on it. Specially with the gas prices going up the way they are. Well anyways its an awesome choice, and with them DUBZ it would look amazing.

EDIT: Notice that numbnut already talkin about it!

Chester
12-04-2005, 04:00 PM
Raz, gas mileage is not that bad on newer SUV's. I drive quite a bit and I don't fill up that much at all.

Raz2
12-04-2005, 04:05 PM
What do you drive Chester?

Oh, the Navigator is rated at 13 city 18 hwy, and according to edmunds, etc. a more realistic number especially at altitude (users in colorado, etc) is 9-10mpg city, 16 hwy.

yeh i think the newer SUV has some decent milleage.. our RX330 gets ~ 550km on a 75L tank averaging ~ 12.1L/100km on the trip computer.. not bad i think.. for a SUV anyway

when u rim it up, go with 22's... i guarantee your wife will not enjoy the 24's... although they may look a bit better, the ride quality is brutal... im not a fan of NAvi's, but that will look Hawt as hell when u paint all the grey cladding

congrats on the new whip

and raz look at it this way.. his brand new Navi may burn more fuel than a civic, but all ur ghetto whips burn more oil than Suncore

Not just that but your listed fleet of beaters, are more harmful to the environment then anything else. Sure his Navi may consume quite a bit of gas. But the shit you drive kills the environment.

They are nice looking trucks but a little underpowered and too thirsty for my liking.

My cousin had one for a month and rolled it at 70kph. He has a Denali now and is much happier. More power, better fuel economy, and stability control.
