Yenko?

Did anyone catch the Yenko chev that was auctioned off at wow this year? I heard about it on saturday but it was gone before it got there. Anyone get any pics or know anything else about it?

I didn't think that there were any in Calgary....only one I know of used to belong to my best friends dad. That was about 20 years ago.

Super limited edition. Don yenko was a tuner, that modded the factory 396's into 427's that made huge power. Factory quarters were around 11.8 I believe. Not bad for a tank of a car!
I remember seeing one in high school that sold for over 85000. I imagine they are worth way more now.

I saw a car with yenko badges, but I think it was a chevelle, not a camaro.... Didn't really look twice. Maybe ask on performance shop, surely someone there will know.

He was a chevy dealership owner in the states that turned engines and cars like the chevelle, camaro, nova and a few others into amazing performers. His cars pull a premium now, since like was already said, they are super rare. I was curious on this history of this particular car and how much it went for, considering that very very few made it up to Canada, especially this far west.
