right, cuz that will work
Chances are that if im speeding by anything more than 5-10km then im very aware of the speed im going and am doing so on purpose and a stiffer gas pedal wont do shit all. Infact ill assume that 99% of people are the same way.

I think the only time that i ever speed not on purpse is if i dont know the roads im on and assume its an 80 when its really a 70 sorta thing...

Actually, this otto-mate just alerts you of the local speed limits, red light cameras, etc. if it was updated enough to do multinova vans - it would be really really useful.

Nice, so when psycho axe murder is chasing you to chop your head off you can be glad that you are at least following the speed limit

sweet, so if your left leg gets a good workout from an unsprung clutch then a stiff gas pedal will work out your right, i'm all for it

Because, you know, it happens all the time.

Imagine passing on a highway and all-of-a-sudden you can't get any more throttle and an oncoming semi destroys you. What a stupid idea.

This is exactly the problem. Maybe most of the posters on the board might be able to overcome the resistance, but not necessarily their wife, or sister, or daugther.

I bet this will cause even more accidents than before. Sometimes that extra speed is "needed".
