Had my first experience at running in the real cold this weekend.I ran in the Santa Shuffle 5km Saturday morning (-24C) and a 13 km Run club Sunday morning (-20C) . I managed to stay warm, but after Sunday's run ,my face ,hat, and gloves were covered in frost and my water bottle froze.
I ran a total of 131 kms in November.My 10km race is next Sunday,and I'm feeling pretty good :) .

That is really great man. I'm glad you're able to find motivation.

cold air burns my lungs too much...indoor running > outdoor running in winter, but props on keeping up with it!!

That pic looks just about right ! :D

The Santa Shuffle was a slow time .I ran with a co-worker who has just started running. She did okay for her first time.We finished in 41 minutes.
Sunday run took me 2 hrs 2 mins.Running in the snow was like running in sand.It was hard going.I didn't want to injure myself,so I just took it easy.

When I used to be in shape (grade 7-9), we did a lot of winter activities at the boarding school I went to including a 50km snowshoe race. I don't know if we ever had to do it at as cold a temperature as you did your race though. Kudos.
