I am looking at buying a 2000 Accord 4dr SE 5sp, dark grey in color. Original owner as well. VIN check is perfect. No accidents.

It has 96000km and his minor rubbing damage on the back seat from loading/unloading a guitar amp. The body is near mind with 1 door ding and a minor dent on the front fener (looks like someone was leaning against it). Could be fixed at the dent doctor for $100.

I offered the guy $12500, is this a good offer? Timimg belt needs to be changed still and the brakes seem in good condition.

Any input would be appreciated. I kind of think I am getting a killer deal, anyone agree? Also, My dad thinks that an inspection isn't really that necessary because of low KMs, what do you guys think?

I would say $11k would be a good deal.

not to bad f a deal but i would still go for an inspection. you dont want to be screwed on a car of that value.

The guy was asking 14000 for it, i kinda thought 12500 would be fair, i don't want to lowball.

11K eh? dang, you really think so eh? So how would someone go about making a lower offer? heh.

I may get it inspected today then.

thanks guys

Ya, I just needed some confirmation before doing this. Its nice to be in the "average - good" deal on a car. I just dont wanna get ripped, just like everyone else!

Thanks for all your input guys, i feel better now :)
