Seeing if anyone has some for sale. I need a good 30 meters. But if anyone has a box I might pick it up if its for the right price.

Or if anyone knows where I can find a good price on some...

Thanks.

Is it black? And is it RG6? Or that Bigger, harder coax like half inch diameter?

Casue there are 4 primary types of coax used in cable tv.

- RG11 thick, stiff, will buckle on bending too much. Used for Plant side underground to peds.

- RG59: Old school cable tv, its shit.

- RG6 White: Main indoor coax, made for indoor temperatures.

- RG6 Black: Used for outdoor drops and runs, you house may be run with black as well inside.

I bought some RG6 Black at the loonie store my Jysk in Marbourgh, I think it was $10 for 125 ft or was it 150ft, but it was much cheaper then the stuff sold @ Radio Shack or w/e its called now

color of cable jacket does not determine its use/purpose.
instead read what it says on the jacket.

if you want some quality rg6, check out noramco on 12 st NE (by timbertown).

a box of belden brand rg6 1000ft rated at 3ghz (ie good stuff) will go for a little less than $100.

at this quality and price, it is about 66% cheaper than home depot. (which charges about $1.10 /meter or over $300 for 1000ft).

They typically use black rg56 outdoor, and they have rg56 in white, which they use indoor.
