F***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this god damn fucking city of Red Deer. My friend calls me, drunk out of his mind at the bar to pick him up. I park at the very far end of the bar parking lot, 4 cars in total within 100 meters. I come back after 10 minutes, and some faggot fucking dick head hit my car! The rear bumper is cracked to shit, the rear right taillight is cracked, and the front black rock gaurd under the front bumper broke off because he hit me so hard my car hit the curb. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :whipped:


I checked with the bar staff, they dont have cameras in the parking lot, I called the cops, and they said that because theres no evidence of the other car, and my cars still driveable, theyre nnot going to come check it out.

Happened to me too!! Were there any witnesses?? For me there were, and I got a note on my windshield giving me info on the car, time of the accident, and the witnesse's name! So I kinda got lucky!:thumbsup:

Imagine a 3-4 inch black rock gaurd all away around the front of the bumper. That broke entirely off.

I had 3,000 done in the corner of my truck just like that.. crushed my bumper in, bent the rear panel and the tailgate... $1000 in vandalism(someone just kicked my other rear panel and did a full front to back DEEP scratch on the driver side) and hit a deer within a month.. it all came to 8 grand

Yea, last year (November 26th) I had my car broken into on my first night in Red Deer. They did about $700 damage to my car, and stole about $800 worth of stereo equipment, well over $2000 in cds (I had about 10-15 CDS in my case that cost me well over $50/CD from Japan), my $300 Oakley's.... its been a bad time in Red Deer.

Front valence might be a problem....I don't actually know 100% how it connects but I know it is a POS to take off because there are a bunch of tabs. If those tabs broke then you are f'd because you can't reattach a new front valence to it. COULD require a new front bumper....don't quote me on that...but thats what I think.

Got an estimate done today: Total came to a little over $2600. New rear bumper, new rear left quarter panel, and in the front I need a new front bumper, new rad support, new heating coil, and some other stuff. About $1500 in parts, and about $1000 in labour. 3 days worth, and I also need a rental cause of that fact.

My insurance company Toronto Dominion Insurance, says they might not cover a penny, as I dont have collision, and for them this goes under collision, not comphrensive like other Insurance Companies. But the guy I spoke to said he would try to work something out with his boss.

^^^WTF!! Tell them to fuck right off!! How can they work different then most insurance companies? I mean they can, but thats just plain stupid and pretty much a rip off. If they dont cover you, cancel it with them RIGHT AWAY, not a second after or before. Like right away and pick up a better company. But hopefully they will cover it, just hope for the best.

i'm the the insurance program right now and yea it's true..hit and run incidents (unidentified driver) are covered under collision, not comprehensive. owning a car with that value, you should definitely considering getting coverage for collision.

Ask the autbody shop if they can find used parts off of a salvage car. It might take a bit longer but it will definately be cheaper then going and replacing it with brand new parts.

i have to say this... in the first picture, it looks like the CMP sticker is ONTOP of the snow :dunno:

I couldnt afford collision when I first bought the car (an extra $2000 a year), now im wishing I would have tried harder to get it

They don't have to come see. You just need to file a Police Report if the damage is over 1000$.

Your insurance should cover hit and run as well, with no cost to you.

That really sucks though. Sorry 'bout your car.
