Hey I'm trying to help a buddy study for a 2nd year eng phys final, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do this relative velocity question. It uses the typical relative velocity relationship (Va = Vb + Va/b). It can be done either vectorally or geometically... anyone want to take a shot? The correct answer is 4.33m/s.

Haha yeah, I took the course 2 years ago, got a pretty good mark in it, and then forgot it as fast as humanly possible. I thought that now, being in 4th year eng phys, that this should be a breeze for me... guess not. I didn't put too much time into it though as I have a boatload of other finals to study for, so I thought maybe someone here would be able to whip up an explanation for this.
