How effective are rabie vaccines for dogs? My dog just got bit by a opossum on the leg, nothing major but still worried if he will get rabies. He had his rabie vaccine two years ago and according to the vet records it says its 36 months effective, should i still take him to the vet to get checked out? omfg i hate those opossums, trying to play dead when i went out so i threw it over the fence with my shovel
