Well the Apexi is a bar and plate design IC, so if that's what a person is looking for then a spearco would be just as good or better. But if you want a good IC be prepared to pay the big bucks...my HKS was $1500.00.

Fair enough, but personally i would not let that restrict my options.

Here is some more info for ya;

Tube and fin gets the air colder thus more dense going into your throttle body, bar and plate holds pressure better thus less initial lag, and can take a rock better. Both work well in there own way.

Examples;

HKS, Greddy, Blitz are all tube and fin.

Apexi, Spearco are bar and plate.
