So Rico's asking $325 for this. You're asking $325 for $350 worth of gift cards. Then you offer him $300, not $350, worth of gift cards for his laptop instead of a straight across trade.

Unbefrickenlievable. :banghead:

You're asking $325 for $350 worth, so why offer him $300 worth? The least you could do is split the difference.

But this is beyond, so.................

I suggest you learn some math. If $350 worth of credit is going for $325, I would venture a guess that $300 worth of credit is worth around $275-280, give or take a few bucks. That's if he's firm on his price, which he hasn't indicated he is. Realistically, he might get $300 for the gift cards, if he's lucky. So those $300 worth of credit are really only worth about $265 to him, and he's trying to pick up $300 worth of computer from Rico for it.

Anyway, not my battle, but all the low-balling BS that goes on here is a little frustrating. Why is it that you can't post an asking price and have someone respect it, within reason? You ask $250 someone offers you $175. You ask $5, someone offers you $3 and wants you to drive across the city to deliver it. Probably 3 out of 5 "buyers" never follow through. And it doesn't seem to happen on any other boards, which is why it is so striking on this one.

i didnt consider myself a deadbeat for seeing if you wanted $300 worth in giftcards, and just to let you know moe $300 in gift certif at southcenter = $300.. it worked out for someone else whom had things he needed to purchase at southcentre.. sorry rico if i did anything to ruin your life
