Nice HP, but the torque was 670 ft/pds which seems kinda low compared to the HP numbers.

I dunno, I'm sure it makes 670 lb/ft for a long time, and 670 lb/ft should be ENOUGH :D

turbos are usually high hp cause they take time to spool, super chargers have lots of torque cause there is no spool, torque is lower rpm, hp is high

That is a pretty bad generalization.

It is all about tune, parts and a given RPM range.

The 1.8T VW engine is known partially for it's low end torque. The 2.5T in the STi has plenty of torque.

Many of the Supercharged AMG motors make plenty of horsepower.
