Friday Saturday = expensive
on the strip = expensive

check their websites. they usually have a calender with prices for each day. sometimes it's 99$/day depending on when you go.

Here you go.. a nice guide to cheap places on/near the strip.

go to treasures gentlemens club... its heaven.. i stayed there from 11pm to 730 am...it aint easy being greasy... we stayed at the hampton inn right off the strip, affordable and decent but nothing fancy..super cheap cab fare to the strip, the inn is on dean martin blvd but most maps still say industrial blvd..

Circus Circus is quite reasonable, as with Barbury Coast

Bellagio is AWESOME, super comfortable, huge nice rooms. WELL WORTH the price you pay IMO. Apparently ceasar's rooms are nice as well...either way it's all good,t he bellagio and ceasars have an attached walkway

Might be cheap, but that hotel is gangster central! I was terrified when we stayed there. My brother happened to be wearing a vest with "gang colors" on it while we ate dinner there and a dude from a rival gang with a GIANT tattoo on his neck looked like he was ready to kill my brother (He was 14 at the time) when my dad noticed this and asked bry to take off his vest, the guy went back to eating his dinner and left us alone...haha and vegas is supposed to be neutral territory!

There's some pretty cheap motels at the VERY END of the strip, it shouldnt be hard to find if you search around...look on sites like expedia, they usually an reccomend some reasonable quality cheap places to stay

Try the Boardwalk Hotel and casino. I stayed there once, is was very affordable, not fancy but its on the strip in between the Bellagio and the Monte Carlo.:)

This should be pretty simple, go to a travel website and look up hotels. You can enter the dates you want to go and sort by price.

Barbary Coast. On the strip, right across from Flamingo, etc. Good location.

Just got back from Vegas last week. Screwed up our dates and first night we stayed at the Gateway Motel at the VERY end of the strip....I mean even past Stratosphere and still further down. If you don't mind sleeping in your jeans, hoody, shoes, and socks it's not a bad place :-P This place even gives you $5 back when you give the key back! Classy joint this one.

We ended up staying at Imperial Palace the next two nights......not a bad place if all you need is a place to crash. For next trip in summer booking TI or Caesars.

Excalibur is pretty cheap. Nicely located southern half of strip. Also who can go wrong with wenches? :dunno: :poosie:

I'm going to be @ CES in january... I think a company partner is putting us up at the Imperial... supposedly it's the "cheapest" hotel on the strip.

HAHA try the laconcha, if they havent torn it down yet. Its a 50's or 60's relic, that feels more like a motel, right next to the riviera. Next door to a liquor store, close to circus circus, and everything else. Last time I went was in 99, and the "free" hotel wound up being there.

One other thing, if you go into the casinos and get their player's club cards and use them when you gamble, you can exchange them for comps on your room and food and what not...now only do this if you plan on gamling alot, cause it's something like $1.50 being put through the machine to count for one comp point and you need c ertain number of comp points to even have it count towards earning anything. Play in your hotel or their affiliate hotels as much as you can instead of the other hotels and you might luck out with free or discounted rooms/food

Whatever I'd do the same, I don't blame you at all!!

I was just down in Vegas a couple months ago actually, cruising the strip with beer in hand is the coolest thing I've done in a while.

Next to getting a lapdance from a stripper that look like Beth Ostrovky (sp?) that is. :bigpimp:

Our airfare is basically free, but we ended up paying $700cdn for 3 nights at the New Frontier in the middle of the strip.

She can get her shopping done and were within walking distance of pretty much anywhere.
