Im lookin for somewher that can paint rims.... Gunmetal and still keep a polished lip..... A good price would be nice also.

Good quality.

Try to DIY, it's not that big of a deal. A shop isn't going to do anything that special.

If you really want a shop to do it, I'd suggest powdercoating, since then it would actually be stronger than if you did it yourself.

search around on www.impreza.net , a lot of guys have painted their wheels gunmetal, left the lip 'polished'. Many pics and threads there.

I strongly recommend you do something OTHER than painting your wheels. Somebody reccommended powdercoating them and Alberta Wheel does that, they're the best wheel repair company in calgary. I have painted wheels for my factory wheels on my Type R and beleive me, living in Calgary with all the rocks on the road it looks like somebody took a machine gun to them. I curse who ever came up with the idea of painted wheels (especially white) because in a few years time they look like SHAT.

Personal opinion, from a few years experience.
