I'm looking for a ZC or a decent D-series motor to swap in to my buddy's EF hatch. We were toying with the idea of a B-series swap, but I think it's going to be out of his budget.

Also looking for a short geared D-series cable tranny, if there is such a thing.

Let me know what you have.

DOHC ZC's are hard to find, I would recommend a JDM D15b Vtec with a SI or ZC cable trans.
People (owners) are really impressed with this swap.

->You have to convert to OBD1.:)

Not a bad idea. Thanks for the advice.

I guess you can add those options to by WTB list.

How hard is the OBD-1 conversion? Just get the harness with the engine, then use a jumper harness at the ECU? Or is it more involved than that?

Its pretty easy, all the extra wires come off the jumper harness. On the engine harness, you have to remove the resistor box as well as change electrical plugs on the distributor and injectors.

You'll also need a P28 ECU for the D15B right? That'll jump the budget up. :)

We're likely going with a 2nd gen ZC from JDM Source. I just need him to make a decision.
