i dunno they always seem to slam american cars but then they always seem to find upsides to em. i remeber watching a episode of top gear where they compared the 350z, the audi TT, and the chrysler crossfire. they all came to the conclussion the crossfire is the one buy. granted the 350z had the best power, the audi had the best handling, for the the price difference of those 2 vs a crossfire, the crossfire was suggested to be the poorman's sports car.

myself? Id get a mustang GT over A LOT of european cars.

top gear isnt meant to be super serious ... its an entertainment based show that happens to involve cars.
they do sometimes have a bit of bias and they do bash on cars (lots of cars, not just american) but behind all that there are actually some valid points too ... both positive and negative.

Success of Top Gear and the lesser 5th gear is that they are relentlessly willing to bash cars in a funny way.

Too many shows and magazine became mouth piece for manufacturers because they need money from them.

I find that what they said about the Mustang is right on the nose, and what 5th gear said about the SRT-10 was right up there as well.
