I guess my last attempt to start a thread on home equipment didn't work out. I made a joke about it be like comparing penis's and it probably got deleted.

Anyways, what kind of home equipmeny do you guys have? I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can get an idea what everyone else is using. And, if something interest us, we can for more information.

So here goes, I have the following:

1- Weider 355 bench with about 400 lbs of steel plates
http://www.premiersportsandfitness.co.uk/Benches/Weider%20pro%20355%20P.15.htm
2 - northern lights standalone bench for dumbbells

3 - hex dumbbells up to 35 lbs

Aerobic Machines:

All I have so far is a Precor 9.33 treadmill.

For weight benches/machines I'd like to get something where I can do leg presses along with other basic strength training.

I haven't got the room for a leg press ramp, nor do i have the money for the 600+ pounds of plates.

However, I'd love to own something similar to this:

http://store.yahoo.net/net2fitness/angledlegpress.html

Especially if I could use it as a smith machine for squats and heavy bench press.

I currently have a treadmill at home.
I used to have one of those home gym workout centers but I didnt really use it and neither did anyone else. I have some free weights too... I tend to use them while/after I am on the treadmill. I guess I also have one of those inflatable gym balls that I use for stretching but I dont think I would count that as "equipment".

This thing is a beast - so much more stable to most other benches.

With 300lbs olympic weight set, and one of those steppers.

That's pretty freaking sweet. How much did you get that for?

i like those spotter racks so you can do heavy bench press without crushing your neck or if you rep out you can still crawl out from under it.

Fitness depot sold me a set for $100 but I haven't been able to use them because when they are mounted to my bench a 5" bar doesn't work, the plates line up with the rack. A 6' bar works but most of my plates aren't a true 1" so they don't work on my 6' bar......in time, I'll reposition the racks so they no longer interfere.

Anyone out there that can resize my plates so they all fit a 1" hole?

I do all my workouts from home. Here's my setup:

Treadmill:
http://www6.sears.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&categoryId=15758&langId=-1&rrc=1&productId=158471224

Punching Bag (but the 70 pound version):
http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441903943&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517511&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517616&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=1408474396670148&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396670148&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670271&bmUID=1135040983049

Bench:
http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441903939&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517511&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517616&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=1408474396670147&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396670147&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670271&bmUID=1135041034714

Then just an arrangement of resistance bands, free weights, bars, and grip squeezers.

$350 used - the guy paid $1100 (Showed me the receipts) for the bench setup/olympic weight set. Hardly used - he hurt his elbow and didn't have the range of motion anymore.

I was going to build a killer home gym, then I started working 80 hours/week and don't have time to workout at home (I workout at work now).

at home i have a bike, a bench with no weights(loaned em away a long time ago, never got around to getting them back yet) and this contraption

http://www.sportchalet.com/graphics/product_images/p101257reg.jpg
its called the NitroFlex, it only cost like 300 bucks brand new, and you can do a surprising amount of exercises on it, albeit compromised by the bar being on a lever. the neat thing about it is that there are no weights in it, its just a cylinder with a compressed nitrogen cylinder that alters the weight. it did a decent job but i never really used it much, so now i just go to the gym. much better.
