Where exactly? I love the White Spot on Macleod across from Superstore. It's a little different from the usual restaurants mentioned in these threads.

I've had some good meals at Open Sesame (corner of MacLeod Trail and Glenmore). Good setting, lots of variety, good prices, nice and quiet and private too:thumbsup:

thanks guys, we have been to those places. I am thinking of going somewhere no further than 17th ave and below. i live in the SW in woodbine so anywhere in the south region of calgary pretty much would be good

I also love Mongolie Grill down on 11th Ave downtown... but yeah that's north of 17th Ave.

I hate places like Open Sesame and Mongolie Grill - if I wanted to put effort into making my meals then I'd stay at home. If you can't cook and don't know what to put into your meal then the meal will just suck.

As for restaurant recommendations, try Sugo, it's been a hit each time I go and the food is ohh soo good!

^^^ Meh... I found wellingtons to be waaay overpriced for the quality of their food.

I dont know what kind of food you're lookin for but i just went to the broken plate in willow park a little while ago, awesome food as usual.

I forgot to mention Cravings in Acadia is really good for variety and quality. Neat little concept too.
