New 2006 Challenger pictures

New images have surfaced of the forthcoming Dodge Challenger concept. Their source is unclear, but they certainly appear to be authentic. The first images of the car surfaced in November, when a completely undisguised prototype was caught parked in a remote location. The car is expecting to debut in concept form that the Detroit auto show in January. The Leftlane Perspective: Chrysler has said it has no plans to produce the Challenger, but given the public’s largely positive reaction, we suspect a production version is inevitable.

now that's a heck of a lot better than the Charger... The Challenger sticks to it's roots more than the Charger. Even the body lines, ie. shape/contour is very 70's-ish. moreso than the mustang too!

Givin that the only coupe in Chrysler's line up is the old Sebring and sucessful sales of new Mustang, I'm sure this will be here by Fall 06.

finally Dodge came in with a coupe to beat the hell outta the Mustang, now claimed to be its main competitor :thumbsup:

that 6.1L hemi pushin 425Hp still gets 16/20 MPGs as well

ya its on the cover of motortrend this month, alongside and "imperial" concept that'll be shown in detroit.

so new mustang already on the market
new retro charger being shown
and supposedly a camaro concept being shown
