The front is super nice, the interior in the front is gorgeous, interior in the back is pretty nice, but for some reason on the exterior, from like the middle all the way to the back i think is hideous. Just my $0.02.

I love it to be honest. The Maserati Quadroporte is a far uglier car than the Flying Spur. Nice car, whoever owns it.

I spotted a Flying Spur a while back driving through Mission. Was actually surprised to see it as I just saw the Fifth Gear episiode where it was featured, along with the last season's Top Gear. Nice car and the driver was taking it very very easy (aka slow).

You must be thinking of another car, perhaps the Arnage Red Label (1999 - 2002) or Green Label (1998 - 2000)?

The Arnage T is only 3 years old.

They have are still the benchmark in Ultra luxury, and kick some serious ass at 450 hp & 645 ft/lbs torque.

Nope. I've driven both the 99-2002 as well as the 2005 and they are all pieces of crap, and hardly a benchmark.

450hp/645lb-ft torque is not enough to justify the price. For the same price you can get a Benz S600 or S65 that destroys the car in every way imaginable, save the extreme snob factor. They are ancient looking, ancient feeling, handle like garbage, stop like garbage and the acceleration is not exactly dramatic. If you really need a snobby badge, get a Maybach 57S.. nothing from Bentley can touch those numbers if you are really into bench racing.

In the "ultra luxury" segment, the Maybach, S600/S65, Phantom, Flying Spur all make it look and feel like the old dog it is.

The Flying Spur is a far better car in every way.. better fit/finish, more comfortable, more usable power (especially in Calgary with the advanced AWD system) and way, way better braking and handling. Not to mention the little things like an interior that doesn't look like it is from the 70s, an amazing stereo, etc.

Don't believe everything you read in car magazines.. the Flying Spur is a lightyear or so ahead.
