Has anyone used this? Just saw a commercial with Ned Flanders using it with ease to unbolt anything and everything. I went to Canadian tire and it says that the drill is capable of exerting 1050lbs...that sounds like an awful lot, more than any job i've ever needed an impact gun for.

Question is, does anyone own one or use one? Its on sale for $150, and its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a compressor and tools and much more convenient. How are they in comparison to the tried and tested air power?

It's 1050 INCH / lbs which is 87.5 ft / lbs which is barely enough to undo wheel lugnuts, considering most lugnuts are torqued to 90 ft / lbs.

^^^ Yup, you need a 3/4" drive air impact gun to get 1050 ft·lbs of torque.

yeah i was so overly excited by reading that too when I first saw it, then it was on sale at canadian tire, so I bought one, low and behold it read in/lbs rather than ft/lbs hahaha man what a horrible joke to play on people haha
