I was planning to go with a pair of Type-E's, but decided at the last minute to spring for a pair of Type-R's.

However, now this leaves my planned Amp in the dust, since the RMS of each sub is doubled.

Is there a good amp that will put out 1000W RMS @ 2ohm (The subs run 500W RMS @ 4ohm, so if I run off a single monoblock amp, it'll be 1000W @ 2ohm).

Thanks.

Dont run @ 2 ohm, thats a waste.

Get dual 4 ohm subs and wire it down to 1 ohm, there is a Alpine Monoblock amp that runs 1000 watts @ 1 ohm. Go to www.alpine.com and look under products.
