It's kinda late to start calling around, so maybe someone here can give me a head start for the morning....

The water hose that's connected from the bottom of the fridge to the freezer side door has cracked and broken off and needs to be replaced. It's the hose that's connected to the water dispenser at the front of the door.

Does anyone know where I may find a replacement part of this? Is it pretty standard?

Looks like the door will have to be open up to replace the tubing. Any tips on how?

The fridge is a GE TFX27F (probably almost 15 years old).

Camco has tons of GE appliance stuff, you might want to try them if your current plan falls through.

That's where AMRE pointed me to! Gotta wait ~3 weeks for it though, cause it's not in stock. Oh well...

Well, how about that! :D

Camco is awesome, I get all my appliance stuff from there. I was fixing the dishwasher I got from hampstor, and I happened to mention what I was fixing to the guy at the counter. He kindly informed me that I'd completely misdiagnosed the problem and saved me $50 worth of parts without even seeing the dishwasher!

Haha! It's supposed to snow tonight and later this week. Can't I just leave food out on the lawn? :dunno:

Yeah, the guy even gave me step by step instructions over the phone on how to take the door apart so I can replace it!
