Hey Will the application actually isnt specific to the year of the mr2 but instead the gen of the engine. USDM and 89-95 JDM mr2s came with the 2nd gen 3sgte and although apexi did make a power fc for this application they were super rare. The more common use for the Power FC was with the 3rd gen 3sgte which had a map sensor vs maf.

If its a 3rd gen pfc then Will is hooped. Not many MR2 spyders kicking around, since they are illegal in canada.

Gen III, as in Engine. That came in 94+ JDM MR2's.

The part number for the Power FC is #414AT001
it's for SW20 93+ 3S-GTE
anything 92 or older ECU will not work

JDM +94 plus ecus. Will was this power FC from japan orig? The jdm 90-93 ecu are the same so Im assuming you mean this power FC is for 94+ jdm ecu meaning the ecu for the 3rd gen map sensor 3sgte.

I've seen a couple people get the powerfc into a 2nd gen motor, i was planing on doing the same, but it might turn out to be more then a project.

1stgen 87-89
2ndgen 90-93
3rdgen 94+

Actually ryan I think 90-92 ecu are the same and 93-95 are the same.

90-95 are actually the same, but the harness pinouts are different.


96+ is gen III mr2

The 1994+ alltrac (st205) had the "gen 3 engine/harnses/mapsensor"
