I have had this thing for about 2 years...it is very well kept and in great condition. And based on the date code on the back, it still has warranty left. (Date Code: FEB2003, 3yr warranty)
It is a very bright screen and has very good black details (for an lcd). It is still a very very competitive lcd panel given todays new panels. I used it with setting at 50% Brightness, and 50% Contrast, so it has lots of life left.
I am upgrading to a dell 1905fp 19" lcd so I wanna sell this one.
This 17" actually has better black details than the new 19".
It also has faster response time, ie. less ghosting, than the 19".
My dell 19" is rated at 20ms.
I also still have the original box, cables and manual.
Anyways asking price is $225 obo.
