SRS and Steering Wheel replacement

When replacing an EK Civic steering wheel with a JDM CTR wheel with SRS, will the airbag still work?

I have an SRS wheel in my car now. What I am concerned about is whether the JDM steering wheel can be hooked up properly so that it should work, and my SRS light doesn't stay on. I want to be sure before I pick up the replacement steering wheel.

yes it work fine. you can also use an s2000 wheel if you want to maintain cruise feature.

^werd, never got around to hooking that up in the lude though, but yeah.....

I had a S2k steering wheel (thanks civicsi) and hooked it up. No SRS light warning, so I will assume it works...no definitive answer as I never crashed the lude....so yeah....
