After reading the Alaskian King Crab Fishing thread on the board I was wondering where can I go about buying them (in the city).

And how much.

I can't imagine buying one and having to cook it. They are HUGE! And really expensive. I've seen them at SuperStore.

Wow, $9/lb is a good price. I'd still rather fly to Vegas and have them at the buffets though :p

Jeepers that's a lot of Crab Legs.. They sell them everywhere now: Superstore, Sobey's, Costco (but only if you go on their Seafood Roadshow days). Superstore and Sobey's is usually about $10-11/lb or so; a far cry from what they were a few years ago ($20-$25/lb).

When I was in Virginia a number of years ago I went to a seafood buffet for $18 USD and they had all you can eat king crab legs.

they had all you can eat crab legs for 24.99 or something like that. My wife probably made them take the promo away by eating enough for a small army

$34 books for the king crab platter, not a bad deal. Their other platters are better priced. The food is amazing, the decor is cool, and all in all its a nice to go. 4 People, with appetizers, and drinks came to $195
