can anyone confirm if the above link works to unlock a V3?

A seller on ebay "GSMLIBERTY" offers an unlocking program for $25. You can download the software and try it before you buy, and once you confirm that the software can read your phone, he will send you an unlocking credit once he receives payment.

I've unlocked about 6 Motorolas this way, and all have been done flawlessly. All you need is a mini-usb cable for the Razr, like the ones most digicams use.

Like weapon_r said, you there is a test program to verify it can be done before you pay for it.
