WTB: AC to DC power converter

I know its a weird item, but would like something to chagne ordinary wall ac to 12VDC and 2.5 Amp.


anyone know where to get one of these?

they sell coleman cooler power adapters which are just normal adapters... i have oe, i use it for all kinds of things, it works great.

12vdc 5.25 amps... it would work for your application.

yo, take the 12v rail from a computer power supply and you got one. its like 12amps. and it should not affect it becasue your device will only pull what ever amps is needed.

the amps wont matter, get the colman thing becasue its wired up and ready to go. your car has like 500+ amps so 5 amps wont fry it.
