Should I sell my car?

Hey all,

I have a 92 Mazda MX-3, the body is in mint condition but the car doesnt run. It's been taking up space for quite a while now and i really need to get rid of it. Does anyone know of any good places where i could sell it, or maybe a good place where i could sell the parts?

Not sure about Calgary, but I know in Toronto you can get refurbished engines installed for like $2500. The car looks nice.

i tried swapping in a K8-ZE by myself and failed miserably. So the car needs a new motor (K8-ZE already in there), and i've already spent enough money on it. Plus i already have another car. So i just want to get rid of her, preferably someone who will give her a good home. That or any place that'll take er.

So anyone know where i can get rid of this thing? No of any bodyshops or wreckers that might trade for some decent $$?

id probably try here (http://forums.beyond.ca/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=73) first, then canadatrader.

ill admit, thats a helluva clean mx-3

but if so much work was put into it, why not just get an engine installed professionaly at jdm source?

If the body is mint, you'll get a LOT more money if it runs.

Anyway, I know of 2 recent KLZE's that JDMSource sold. They'll be able to point you in the right direction. IIRC it'll cost around $600 to get the engine put in.

do the klze's fit in mx-3's? i think i remeber vince telling me with the mx-3 tranny you cant go into 5th gear or something :dunno:

yah the fx bumper gives the car a much more aggressive look, then the girly style stock bumper. Anyway i think i'll post some answers to some FAQ's.

car was repainted 2 years ago. (No Rust)
Automatic Transmission
KL-ZE is a direct swap
car was in one accident, drivers side door was damaged but the body shop was able to repair it. Can't even notice.
the K8-ZE is in the engine bay presently.
Car requires a distributor
No after Market MODs. (except bumper)

I'm looking to get $1000.00 for the car as is, i'm also open to any reasonable offers or some advice on where i can get rid of this car since its costing money to have it stored as we speak.

no, i told you the klze tranny has a longer 5th gear, better for cruising, other then that, both trannys are identical
