thats not a sti...... he probably spray painted the "STI" lettering on the intercooler. from the plates i'm guessing she's located in ontario somewhere :confused:

look at the manifold (i know it might be painted too, but thats what gave it away to me, he also has the headlights,)( dont look to hard though, the welds might blow! :rofl: ) but ill do a closer inspection to make sure...

That is NOT an Sti top mount intercooler. It is a USDM WRX one. Un;ess he got a conversion, the bumper has the USDM rebar on it too... I think he is just a STi wannabe like the rest of us :banghead:

After all my searching and comparing... i believe youre right, the only thing that i believe it could be is an older sti swap, could be one of those GC8 wrxs from like 96 or 97.
although... she did say it was six speed... hmmmm. i need to investigate more. fuck it, ill just post it on nasioc and see what responces i get.
it is the 01 wrx sti engine from japan...jdm...6 speed 280hp

I was up in T.O in April last year and saw your ride too, even took a pic of it. I will see if I can dig it up. Very cool, I also remember seeing a tricked out GS400 too in black, the pic of that didn't turn out though....
