1 year Warranty provided by manufacturer.
Take into Sony store and they will replace them, warranty is based on item and no receipt is needed.
BTW when is the last time a Memory stick never worked I have never heard of a instance in my time.

one more thing....
you said there is 1 year warrenty from manufacturer, the warranty from Sony is 5 years for MS Pro Duo and 10 years for High Speed MS Pro Duo

i highly suspect these cards could be fake

Taking to Sony store on Monday will find out and post from there, keep in mind your taking about Canada and USA warranty not overseas warranty.
Not being defensive but I am not selling any until proved to be authentic.

I work at the sony store, and we WON'T replace these if you
bring them to us. Anything bought online, or from Japan isn't
warrantied in canada by us. Sony of Canada doesn't cover it.
Different branch of Sony, I know it sounds stupid but it's true.

As for it working? Your guess is as good as mine, but if you want
you can bring try it on any newer Sony digital camera with the
adapter to see if they work, just open one and try it out. In the
Sony cell phones, they won't work if you have an "older" phone.
The only phone I personally know of that it would work with is
the W810 but we don't have that yet.

I've had lots of people come in with pda's, cell phones and even
older cameras that didn't work with memory sticks because older
cameras, and the phones aren't compatible with the memory stick
PRO duo, only the memory stick duo.
