Physio?

Has anybody on here ever gone for physio? Any good places, what should I expect to pay and does anyone know if Blue Cross or ALberta Health Care cover it?

My Step dads a physio/massase therapist, and he gives the first visit free and $80/h after that.:thumbsup:

i goto southland leisure centre for physio. ask for andy hes a real cool guy and he has definately helped my hand get better

I've gone to Riverglen physio... they have one location in riverbend, and one in westhills... really good place

My Blue Cross plan overs covers a certain doller amount per visit, I think if I were to go I'd end up paying $25-30 over and above what Blue Cross would cover....

I went there, the receptionists are kidn of bitchy, i had some leslie lady for physio, what a joke, you lie down on the heat pad with muscle stimulators for 15 min, then shell flip you over and she doesnt really massage, she applies pressure on your fkn spine not on ur muscles on ur fucking spine, she wil lthen send you home with leg stretching excercises and tell you come back next week what a scam

its in Fisher Park if you know where that is.. Just off Macleod South around 73 ave

Mine was all done through insurance, but i think the cost is resonable.

as for hot chicks no. but if u really need to recover they do their job very well..

The clinic in Village Square is alright. Talisman has a great facility and so does U of C sport med. They were all pretty comparable I would say.
