Hey everyone. I need an Out of Province Ins but my car has some minor things that might not pass and I don't feel like fixing them. If you are or know a licenced mechanic to get the job done it would be appreciated.

So your looking for a mechanic to lay his job on the line so you can avoid making your car roadworthy??? Good luck. BTW, what kind of "might not pass" things are we talking about here.

This vehicle is just something I need to sell but it's got a set of bad wheels and I don't want to waste a bunch of money on a car that I'm getting rid of. The mechanic isn't laying his job on the line he's doing an inspection for cash. That is entirely his choice.

for insurance ins, ya... but when it comes to OOP Inspections, there is way too much on the line for most LICENCED techs to pass something that should not fly.. The tech can get a fine of up to 5000$ and have his licence taken away, as well, the shop he works for can be fined up to 50000$ (same fines as working on a vehicle with collision with over 1000$, and no police sticker)

Well I know a there are a lot of people not willing to do it and a lot of people willing to criticize me for suggesting it. That is not what I asked for. Plus as far as I'm concerned I remember a friend of mine giving me different tires than the ones that were inspected and putting them on after the OOP. In fact it would be hard to prove that anything else happened.

Are they 16 inch tires? If so i can give you 4 16 inch tires that pass inspection for 100 dollars.

I suggest you fix the problems the car has, and if you dont make sure that you tell the person who's buying it what the problems are or you could end up getting screwed over when they find out that you jewed them and press charges against you for fraud and ect.

Good luck with the sale though and btw what all besides the tires needs to be fixed??

Sorry 17's. I already have a pair of 16's that are brand new on rims that have the same 5 lug nut placement. Thinking of swaping them just for the inspection. I think it might lower my car too much though. If anyone has some good 17's that will pass for cheap (just the rubber) let me know.

Everything is in next to perfect shape on the car and besides it is sold "as is" and in my opinion is an awesome deal.

They are michelin pilots in 235/45r17. Not sure if that'd be too wide/tall for your unit.
