almost rear ended by a semi this morning

i'm like 50' away from the light and it turns yellow so I stop right... what do i see no more than 10 feet behind me but a semi truck sliding right towards me
i end up driving half way through the intersection while he ends up going up the side of the road onto the grass almost tipping over


it was like out of a movie
didn't seem real at all

wow thats crazy, the roads felt a lot better today. Well glad you got out with no damages and injuries. :)

that would have been crazy, good thing you checked your mirror! im sure that would have lots of fun getting rear-ended by a semi :rolleyes:

Monday was pretty bad, Country Hills Blvd was backed up for miles.
Tried to avoid the jam by going uphill on Edgebrook Drive, got STUCK on the hill, just couldn't make it up. :rofl:
No traction from the all-seasons. :thumbsdow

Let a bunch of cars go by, kicked in reverse, forward over the island, back downhill, westbound Country Hills, then southbound Edgepark Blvd.

Stopping was very bad too, roads were sheer ice.
Supposedly its going to get colder and uglier by this afternoon.

Yeah the roads are really bad, everyone is sliding everywhere. You are a one lucky guy, it's a good thing you noticed the semi sliding towards your car.
