I'm trying to score some v.6 exterior bits for my car, other than e-bay where do you guys get your JDM shit?

I have talked to Speedtech about finding some parts for me on one of their JDM shipments, but no luck so far.

Some online website are good bets:

I am interested to see if anyone knows a good place locally, or even a good Canadian vendor....

Has anyone tried purchasing stuff from RocketRally? How is pricing? Since we live close to the west coast i dont see the point of paying the price of shipping from Japan to the east, then half way accross Canada again.

well I'm in the middle of a group buy on NASIOC that is buying some stuff from RocketRally.
You should contact codyh on NASIOC. who knows depending on what you want maybe you can get included in this groupbuy.

What kind of impreza do you have?

^^ i think 98-01 since hes looking for v6 stuff? or could be an L but i think they are pretty much the same?

I figured that much out :P
I was just wondering if he had a coupe or sedan or wagon. Maybe he has a RS or TS or an L.

Hahaha I have the exact (color and model) same car as you. But its time to go upgrade the pieces. Where did you get your GC? I had to import mine from the states :thumbsdow

try www.subaruwrxparts.com i am ordering a full front end from www.subarugenuineparts.com from suniegal (aka jamie). if you call her and explain what you want she will is really helpful. btw the US front end is the same as the JDM on except for the front splitter. you can also order the rear skirts (as I am) there as well. prices are competitive now more than ever with the doller the way it is.

Hmmm bad news, some crazy bitch hit my car. The frame is damaged. And in all honesty I feel so sad right now I just want to curl up and die.

I hate bumping this thread again; but I could use some more sites. I checked RS25 & Nasioc but Americans always outbid me and everyone seems to be afraid to ship large parts to Canada :( Where the hell do you guys get v.6 wings and stuff?!

03-04-2006, 10:48 PM
try asking Rally Subaru in edmonton.

when you mean are afraid to ship to canada. do you mean people or companies?
I would think companies would be willing to ship to canada.

The majority of the JDM importers for the states (Gr8wheels, Supermoose, etc) aren't willing to ship to Canada or are actually completely raping me in the ass. I talked to Jer. + Rick at Rally Subaru and they are unable to order alot of the JDM parts (rear bumper, wing, etc). Sigh it seems more and more like I gotta drive down to the states to pick up parts.

^ did you try lachute? fourstarmotorsports? boxer4motorsports? also check on toronto-subaru-club.com. these are all canadian.

also ia performance on nasioc. theres lots of places over in the us that are willing to ship over here

with the dollar the way it these days getting shit from the states isn't so bad. I found that many people on rs25 or nasico will ship to canada if you axe real nice. no matter what shipping is part of the price up here, if you get it a shop in canada it is already built in to the price. I have found that it is cheaper and easier to wait it out and find a good deal on Ebay or a member on one of the boards. Also if you plan on ordering a bunch of stuff at the same time you can call the american online shops and speak to someone and often get a discount (those amricans love to bargin). As for wings are you looking for an athentic JDM part or just a replica? if you can stand a replica there is a guy in Vancouver who posts JDM replica wings on Ebay all the time (can't remember his name off the top of my head). I have called gr8wheels and other import shops in the US and they will definatly ship up here (they will even send a whole clip up). You might want to see if you can get a hold of supermoose on rs25 if you are seious about JDM shizz

here is the guy I mentioned on Ebay about the JDM STi wings:

check out: www.jdmplace.com

they have all kinds of JDM stuff for Subarus, they are located in Toronto.:)

I've contacted them; but after some parts were quoted it was ridiculous to ship back to Alberta. I think i'm going to start up my own business that imports parts to the western Canada.
