My dad had a 1990, same engine, probably one of the best vehicles I've ever driven, that thing just wouldn't die! I can't figure out why every one I've seen since then has the plastic piece on the back window though. What the hell is that?

It actually takes the air going over top of the truck and shoots it down across the rear window surface. It is supposed to keep the back window clear of water and dirt as there has always been a problem on suv's collecting a lot of crap on the back windows, limiting visibility.

What s dime says;
except it actually doesn't work the way it is supposed to, I find it collects more snow and mud then it clears it, but it does catch your gas cap if you happen to leave it on the roof at the gas station.

2800 seems a little high for 300+ km's, my 84 jimmy only has 145,000 with brand new paint and i paid 6, if the price was lower i would consider it cause i am looking for a nice winter truck
