I bought a whole bunch of them. I organized a group buy with my friends and the minimum order was 10.

Griffin's designs and components are approved by Apple and we thought this is the safest way to go since you don't want to risk plugging your $300 iPod into a shoddy charger. The high quality comes at a price though, so we bought them in bulk.

It's a great opportunity, since they're $43 locally.

I was hoping those were online prices only, but I just confirmed that London Drugs is indeed selling them in-store for $30.

Vistek, on the other hand, is indefinately out of stock (Shown by its "Special Order Status") and will probably be replacing it with the pricier PowerJolt since the PowerPod is discontinued - as told by a sales associate.

You also say you can buy it for $20 locally. If this store really existed, than why haven't you already bought it through them. :dunno:

In light of all this, the price is moving to $23.

UofC Microstore (http://www.campuscomputerstore.ca/ucalgary/search.php?search_mode=basic&search_string=pwr+pod&x=0&y=0)
Not many people consider the Microstore to be a legitimate source for pricing since only students and staff can purchase educationally priced products there. The Powerpod, however, is not an academic product and the Microstore will sell them to anyone. They never stock items such as the PowerPod, but will order it in. Their online store is currently showing no stock which usually means a 2 week minimum wait.
