So my understanding is that this is straight suicide. Of course the possibility does exist that someone such as bridgestone made a super tire for bikes on snow, but i highly, highly doubt it. But i took both pics, one showing the snow, and one him on it.....and this was jan 13...crazy

no this guy was in sask, didn't get a proper look at the tires to be sure about the studs, but he must have something. Wow I didn't even know there was a "CBR from sask" hahahaha oh man this place sucks

Thats gay. Hes looking to die for sure. I mean maybe if he drives on the average days he will be OK. Imagine riding somewhere and the weather closing in.... you would be screwed.

Walt Healy used to drive his bike in the "mild" snow I think but he had a sidecar.

next time i see him on campus i'll ask him for sure what the deal is, cause i dunno, why wouldn't you just take the bus?

people are insane ... around that same time when it was snowy i saw some guy buzz by me on a freaking scooter (like a motorcycle type of scooter). i was driving pretty carefully and my car had 4 snow tires with awd!

even if you think you can ride in the snow, you cant protect yourself against other drivers losing it and taking you out. on a bike/scooter/etc you are screwed if someone takes you out and you have virtually no ability to manuever in an emergency situation.
