I got some money to spend on my car. Now I think i know what you guys are gonna say but I wanna know what you guys think i should do. I really like the jdm style headlights for integras. So i was thinking about doing that. Or i can put a lip kit on my car and build my engine and boost it. What you guys think? Oh and the pic in my avatar isnt my teg (dont wanna confuse anyone). Post your opinion.

Why would opinions matter? It's like starting a thread asking if blue or red is better...

those headlight conversions are soo illegal, you need to modify the inside of the lights or else don't even do it.

Sorry for the confusion but do you currently have a JDM front?

LudeRoca

no thats why i said the car in my avatar is not mine.

Well I'm guessing your car isn't a GSR, so I would probably go with boost. Do you have rims or any other exterior mods? If not then I wouldn't go with the conversion. Just my .02 though.

From my personal experience with boosted tegs, go boost man. The jdm front is very very nice, but, a usdm front with an ITR lip is also very very nice. And when you are walking away from v8's with a clean usdm front, you will be so happy with the choice you've made(boost):)

Not necessarily, JDM front= about $2000 + Paint + Install if you dont weld etc yourself...= prob $3000.

Turbo.. junkyard kit + uberdata + tuning= roughly $2000 maybe less. OR Nice full turbo kit + uberdata= roughly $4000.

Yea, pretty much the same.

if it was up to me, depending on what model your integra is would depend on what i would do. If you drive an rs with the b18b, well i would swap it out for the b18c cause i am a vtec junky and love it. Or if you alread are running a gs-r i would just do the front end conversion. After a while if its your daily driver whats the point of being uber fast. but i don't know.

i have an rs with a jdm b20b swapped in from speedtech. I would prolly build this one or maybe buy another b20b and have em build that and then drop that on in and sell my current b20. but yea i think im gonna go with the rs lip kit and drop a turbo kit. I like the look of the integra with the lip and no spoiler with a intercooler in the front. :burnout: thanks for your opinions guys.

why go so fast? you dont want to speed!
the fastest you can possibly go is 110km/h right!?

okay. i had the same dilemma with my car. and i still kinda am. but if you boost it first, would everything still fit if you wanted to do a front end later?

BLUE!

..but yeah, like the guy above said, if you're gonna go with the headlight conversion, don't just plug and play -- glare = suck. do a projector retrofit, or go with the appropriate JDM front end that's designed for HIDs.

front end of integras seem made for intercoolers lol

You really like the JDM conversion? Then go that route. I think that this is the only mod that increases the value of a car.

i personally dont mind the usdm front ends at all, i would personally turbo ur b20b and install a front type r lip and your set to go. nothin beats the feeling of boost

A boosted engine is going to need more maintenance over time than a swapped-out headlight. Keep that in mind.

Well i think you will do both but its just a matter of time? So do whats more important to you right now.
