I was wondering if anyone knew a place that either rebuilds engines or sells complete rebuilt engines. Its for an 89 Ford Mustang 2.3l. any help is appriciated..

Moores shut down but I know someone is going to suggest that for you, just giving you a heads up.

My buddy recently got a 2.5L from AutoValue:confused: For a good price.

Another place to check would be D&W Engines or Firebolt. I have some others when I am home too.

wait ur gonan try to buy a 2.3l? those engines aren't worth the money IMO. a rebuilt 5.0 can sometiems go for 1500 or less though.

They are when they are built and turbocharged.

i still think 2.3l isn't enough to push those tanks around...

Tanks? I went 12.9 with 250k on my untouched short block.

Its fun beating on boosted 5 litres with a 2.3.

If the engine is for a driver, you might consider a used engine. They are available from wreckers for good prices, or Pick your Part has tons of 2.3's, but you have to pull the engine yourself.

Ported head,3" exhaust and turn up the boost.
