hey guys its totally the hottest winter destination you get feilds of ice and snowmobiling and everything its awesome!!!

but no seriously i have to drive up there for work and was just wondering if anyone knew a pretty accurate driving time to slave lake from calgary?? i've never been so i'm not sure...

I've driven up to High Prairie from Calgary, about 8 hours or less. Slave Lake is about an hour or so east of High Prairie. Includes time getting out of Calgary, etc. For you, I'm guessing 6.5 hours?

okay well thats great then i thought it was further than that. i have to go a few hours past there even past a place called red earth. i'm so totally gonna get lost but at least i have a general idea of drive time now...

No kidding, have fun at Red Earth, our pipeline starts there.

Atleast you aren't even further north...say High Level

red earth? that's far north! i'm from high level and yah it doesn't get any farther north than that besides nwt
